Schmalenberg was a real discovery for me 6 years ago. The first time I came to Schmalenberg by bike was exploring my new home. At that time I was greeted by a life-size wooden Pinocchio in town. Meanwhile it is no longer. If you go to the old forester's house from the direction of the train station, you have to take a bend in the direction of the extraction of fire water, but you will come across a wonderful meadow and old oak trees. The old forester's house is now in private hands.
