The only problem is that the bridge is closed due to "dilapidation". Depending on the hike, you won't see the sign until the bridge and you have to walk all the way back.
On September 28th, 2021 the bridge was still as dilapidated as you can see in the picture. It is still closed and there is still no sign of this at the junction. If you don't want to risk the crossing, you have to go up 2 hairpin bends and accept the detour all the way to Mareit.
Unfortunately, we also assumed that the bridge has now been repaired and released again. However, this is still not the case and I can only advise everyone not to take any risks. The bridge looks very dilapidated and the raging Mareiterbach below is life-threatening.
