In Leina, the first church was begun in the 12th century with the construction of a late-Gothic choir. Later, around 1600, further modifications were made. Around 1739 a new building was built on gothic foundations. The church got its present appearance. The village church is equipped with a large bronze, a medium steel and a small steel bell (Wikipedia).

The church is equipped with a large bronze, a medium steel and a small steel bell. The organ is a work by Johann Heinrich Rupert from 1740 with 18 stops on two manuals and a pedal. It was restored in 2004.
