From the Furtlepass you continue on the Hornberg (slight ascent), altitude about 680 m, and continue to the cold field to Knörzerhaus, altitude 767 m, (heavy increase up to 17%). Total increase about 360 m. The paved path leads to about 50 m in front of the Knörzerhaus. Possible departure also directly over Hornberg (shortly before the airfield right) to Degenfeld.
