The architect of the palace, which was officially opened in 1912, was the master builder Eduard Cuypers, whose uncle built the central station in Amsterdam. The client for the construction was the merchant officer Johannes Adrianus van den Bosch and his wife Baroness van Hardenbroek.
This beautiful castle is clearly visible from the road and is certainly an attraction. When the large fountain in front of the castle is on, it is really fairytale. Especially if this is also in the dark, because with the lighting on it is a beautiful decor.
