The Burgalb goes a little further downhill into the Schwarzbach. The small stream gives you a nice opportunity to roll down the river on relaxed forest paths in the western Palatinate Forest. Only in Waldfischbach-Burgalben does the landscape clear and you drive out of the whale. If you want, you can follow the Schwarzbach from here to the Bliestal.

At Ritterstein 101, the Burgalbsprung at the fountain of the same name fills the idyllic Burgalbweiher. The pond drains into the Schwarzbach via the narrow Burgalb stream and is considered to be its most important source.
