The Epple lake here is a large quarry pond with an outdoor pool. After the season it is freely accessible. You can watch the sunset wonderfully here. There is enough seating.
The lake of the same name on the Baden side is not quite as beautiful. But you can swim there for free (only the parking lot for the car costs money).

Today you hardly even notice Lake Fermase that it is actually a quarry lake. Nature has spread here again, making the lake so beautiful and versatile. If you are interested in birds, you can see some here at the lake. If you prefer a quiet swimming area with shady trees looking for, you're also right. In the southeastern part of the lake there is a nice quiet beach where swimming is allowed.
