The idiosyncratic café is located at the Marienturm of the former castle (1568-71) in Marienhausen bei Sande and is run by the Heimatverein.

It is always exciting to see which dish mix the guest is allowed to enter. On Saturdays and Sundays the Marienstübchen is open.

In summer, the coffee is drunk with farmhogs and peacocks on rustic benches. At the cake, the animals hope for just sharing. Fear is completely unknown to her.

If you want to get an overview from above, you have to climb some stairs of the Marienturm and you will be rewarded with the wonderful view of the surroundings.

There is an old forge next to the café from the top. The smith shows the visitor the blacksmithing on registration. School classes often use this offer.

It is worth it ..

On the site is also the Küstenum with an exhibition on coastal protection. On boards, old coastal developments are shown.

In an earlier chicken coop is an idyllic little "Cafe - the Marienstübchen" furnished. After visiting the estate including the historic fountain, a tour on an old rampart along Graften can be turned. On Saturdays and Sundays it is open for coffee. Breakfast is available on Sundays from 10 to 12:30. Only after previous registration. Tel. 04422/3186
