The Barranco is beautiful for hiking. Despite the 500 meters of altitude, it is not very strenuous. The way from the parking lot (Calle Principe Pelinor 10) to the entrance is exhausting, this way is very!! steep and gives rise to fears of the bad.
You have to register online at barrancodelinfierno.es/en A group of 20 people is admitted every 30 minutes. You will be equipped with a helmet and given a briefing. Hiking sticks can be hired for €4.
At the Barranco, two employees take care of the hikers, one in the middle of the Barranco and one at the end at the waterfall.
The higher you climb, the more beautiful the vegetation becomes. Even trees grow through the water of the small streams. The waterfall is not particularly impressive, but quite nice. The tour takes about 3 hours. We are not experienced hikers and managed the tour well. There were even families with children.
