The only official route - a paved, well-developed path - leads the visitor once across the wooded area of the NSG Brooker Forest.

The official path should not be left as Brooker Forest is a nature reserve. Nevertheless, in some places it is possible to go up to the steep edge and look out over the Baltic Sea from there. This view is one of many that you get here on the north side of the forest.

In the western part of the village Groß Schwansee the coast is still flat. It then climbs gently up to the Brooker Höhe with its significant old beech stands on the cliffs, then flattens out again to Brooker beach area. Here you can experience a steep coast, which can be beautiful but also dangerous. It rises up to 30 meters in height and has fantastic views of the Baltic Sea.
