In misty or foggy weather you can actually save the summit, but the rather dense forest around it is very mystical.
In clear weather, the view in the west to the Palatinate Forest and its highest mountain, the Donnersberg. Northwest you can see the Taunus, while to the north the skyscrapers of Frankfurt can be seen. The latter, however, much better from the castle Alsbach, as you have to see from Melibokus through some trees.

The Melibokus is the highest elevation in the Vorderer Odenwald and the ultimate viewing point. If the weather is right, you have a unique view of the Palatinate Forest and the Taunus. For bikers, this is a starting point for real trail fun: there is a wide network of single trails all around.
