    The Sülstorfer Johanniterkirche is a church of the Protestant-Lutheran parish Sülstorf in the district Ludwigslust-Parchim (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern).

    It was built in 1217 by Order Knights of the Order of St. John in honorem divi Laurencii together with a religious house. This is from a deed of donation of Count Gunzelin II, Henry I of Schwerin together with Gunzelin's son-in-law Count Nikolaus von Halland and the respective wives in favor of the Order of St. John.

    The present form was given to the church in the 15th century. The brick building was built on a field stone foundation. It is a small elongated hall building with a polygonal Ostschluss, which appears almost round. It's a sanded 7/12 ending. A northern extension was added in the 17th century, even the southern cultivation is not original.

    A fire destroyed the church in 1979. The inventory and the last of once three bells were destroyed. In 1984, the church was rebuilt and received in 2003 a wooden tower. Two new bells from the "bell and art foundry Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock" in Gescher (North Rhine-Westphalia) are now the bells.

    A flat wooden ceiling spans the interior. After Georg Dehio, the church was prepared for the vaulting by buttresses and bows. In the interior of the church frescoes from the 15th century were uncovered and restored after the fire. The winged altar with painted predella shows late Gothic carving. He comes from the well-worn church in Zweedorf.
