South of the hamlet Hütten, about 5 km west of Leogang, is the Schwarzleograben with the four districts Schwarzleo, Nöckelberg, Vogelhalte and Inschlagalpe.
The largest area is the mining Schwarzleo. It begins at about 1020 m altitude at the bottom with the pit of Erasmus and Johannesstollen. Slightly higher are the pits of the Herren-, Christoph- and Maria-Heimsuchungsstollen and the Barbara- and Danielstollens. The latter was created in the 14th century by means of cutting work and is today passable as a mine.
