The magnificent Evenburg Castle is located in the middle of an English park. It houses a permanent exhibition showing life and business in the 19th century. Concerts, cooking classes and markets also take place here. You can also book a guided tour and learn a lot about this beautiful place. In my opinion, the Evenburg is the biggest highlight of the city of Leer, which is otherwise peppered with sights.

A beautiful little castle. The garden area is very well maintained. There is a small, great playground. Also highly recommended with kids. 👨👩👦👍😊
