The Quellitzsee was built in 1972 and has a capacity of around 150,000 cubic meters of water. The inflow is the Quellitzbach, the outflow is the southern Regnitz. The dam has a height of 8 meters with a water depth of up to 6m and a length of 80m.

Nice little bathing lake that can be circled on a narrow path. The front part has a large lawn, lots of seating and a children's playground. The back part is just beautiful nature.
