A paradise in a nutshell, baroque in the middle of nature: the Moritzburg hunting and pleasure palace is only about 20 kilometers from Dresden. August the Strong had it built on the walls of a former Renaissance building. With its feather room, leather wallpaper and pheasant castle, it stands for opulent courtly life.
