A visit to the weir pond is always worthwhile. Surrounded by trees, the mill race and the bisonta. You can also observe the wildlife on the weir pond, ducks are always there, sometimes swans are guests and if you are lucky, one or the other carp will jump out of the water. There are also benches around the pond where you can relax and enjoy nature.

The weir pond in Schleiz is an idyllic place. It belongs to the fishing club. Here you can walk around beautifully. Benches are also available for resting. There are some water birds on the pond, and sometimes a fish jumps in the water.
