        The Koldenbüttler Marsch is a beautiful natural area in the municipality of Koldenbüttel, located in the district of Nordfriesland in Schleswig-Holstein. This area, which is located south of Husum and west of Friedrichstadt, is known for its flat landscape characterized by green pastures, expansive meadows and an impressive horizon.

        The Koldenbüttler Marsch nature experience area offers visitors numerous opportunities to explore the natural beauty and the unique flora and fauna of the region. There are well-developed cycling and hiking trails that lead through the marsh landscape and offer wonderful views of the surrounding nature. The area is also ideal for bird watching, as many species of birds find their habitat here.

        Koldenbüttel itself has a rich history that dates back to the Middle Ages. The St. Leonhard Church, built around the year 1200, and the old mounds on which the houses stand, testify to the long history of settlement in the place. The region is known for its traditional Haubarge, of which the Riesbüllhof is the last remaining one.
