              The Eifgenbach, also known as Eifgen for short, is an approximately twenty and a half kilometer [4] long, orographically right tributary of the Dhünn in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia.

              The Eifgenbach rises at the Rattenberg in Wermelskirchen on the city limits of Remscheid, encompasses the main town of Wermelskirchen to the south and flows through a natural valley in a southwesterly direction. In the lower reaches it forms the border with Burscheid. The Eifgenbach flows into the Dhünn within sight of the Altenberg Cathedral in Odenthal.
