Boren (German: Borschen) near Bilina in the Czech Republic is a 539 m high volcanic cone in the North Bohemian Basin, which stands out steeply from the surrounding landscape. From its summit you have an impressive panoramic view of the Erzgebirge ridge and the Bohemian low mountain range. The Boren is also very popular with climbers.
Bořeň is absolutely awesome: from the view (a sleeping lion ;-), massive rock walls), from the ascent and from the 360° view of the mine, cones, castles. The mountain of Central Europe's largest klingstein monolith. (Yes, Goethe was also here and drew Borschen several times.)
Access only possible from the direction of Most. From the parking lot there is a small road about 1km to the cottage. There is space for about 20 cars.
