The winding Mendel Pass road, with a maximum gradient of around seven percent, features a total of fifteen hairpin bends. A drive up the Mendel Pass was, and still is, a special experience. Breathtaking views of the vineyards of the Überetsch region and the Dolomite mountains are guaranteed. Unfortunately, these views aren't fully appreciated when driving, so it was decided to close the Mendel Pass road to traffic for one day, allowing cyclists and walkers to enjoy the pass at a leisurely pace. Refreshments will be provided for participants along the route!
