The "Famous Three" (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau) show up on this magnificent panoramic path opposite in the south-east (beyond the Lütschental) behind Mannlichen, Tschuggen and Rotstock. On this side of the Schynige Platte, there are alternating great views in easterly and westerly directions of the distinctive rocky peaks of various "horns", such as the Gummihorn, Oberberghorn, Loucherhorn, Roriwanghorn or Faulhorn (with donkey). If you combine this magnificent path on the south-eastern slopes of the Schynige Platte with the path on the north-western cliff edge with the Gummihorn and Oberberghorn (rewarded with additional great views of Lake Brienz, Lake Thun and Interlaken!), the result is a fascinating circular route on the Schynige Platte.
