CURRENTLY (20.02.25) the left side downstream up to about the height of Fridolfing is closed due to bank reinforcement work and the associated necessary heavy traffic (we drove on a Saturday when it was a day off and quiet but you get really dirty because the road is soft from lots of trucks driving around)
