One commenter describes it as "easy to find the starting point with Komoot." I must add, "unfortunately." Yesterday was the 4th (!!!!) rescue this year, because more and more people are venturing into terrain where they have no business using these crappy hiking apps.

From the Bad Reichenhaller Haus and the summit cross, the full extent of this impressive view can be seen.
