Definitely not to be taken lightly. The trail is also listed in the hiking category, and in my opinion, it doesn't belong there. There are no safety devices, and there are a few small climbing sections.

One commenter describes it as "easy to find the starting point with Komoot." I must add, "unfortunately." Yesterday was the 4th (!!!!) rescue this year, because more and more people are venturing into terrain where they have no business using these crappy hiking apps.

In the distance, you can see the Hoher Göll, Hoher Brett, and Watzmann. The Sleeping Witch is in the foreground. With every meter of ascent, the view of the mountains becomes even more spectacular. From the Bad Reichenhaller Haus and the summit cross, the full extent of this impressive view can be seen.
