The St. Martin's Church, a former monastery church, has stood in the center of Nendorf for over 800 years. In addition to the church remains of the Benedictine nunnery can be seen. Their appearance shows traces of a turbulent construction and conversion history. 1525 ended the monastery life. In 1787 the church was rebuilt in neoclassical style and the present tower was added.
