Veliko Rujno is a plateau in the south of Velebit at about 900m above sea level. Some parts are located in the protected Paklenica National Park. This plateau is surrounded by the Višerujna and Bojinac mountains. Navigation is easy because the plateau is surrounded by the mountains all around. The driving of the singletrack is to the mountains is also possible. The trails are rocky and mostly always dry. Without moving passages but you will not get along .....

Tour is nice. As long as it goes uphill. Downhill the alleged single trail is a hiking trail over boulders. So only for those who want to trail biking. Otherwise you have to carry the bike almost the entire distance. Not easy.
So it's better to go the same way as up and down.

You should definitely avoid this tour. The author made a terrible choice of route. According to the suggested route you should carry your bike up although you can ride on the road. Who thinks up something like this? Of the so-called single trails, 5% are mobile. That means you push and carry the bike. Not feasible even for an experienced trail biker. The "trails" are also full of thorns. The time is also incorrect. If you are in good physical condition, you need at least 1.5 hours longer. This is by far the worst bike tour I've done so far. And there were quite a few. The tour should be deleted from komoot!!

We drove up the gravel road with the Big Enduros to the plateau and really enjoyed the view. Can also be driven well by cyclists. It's very steep in places but doable. Have seen quite a few mountain bikers. But please bring enough water with you!!! I would recommend a hydration pack!
Really great views of the sea🤩

Great respect to all those who master this long and sometimes very steep climb by bike 👍🏻.
