The trail leads on the Schloßberg from the parking lot (Berghaus and Berg-Café) on a beautiful tree-lined path to the cemetery of Reusten. From there, a staircase leads down to the city.

This tour is very nice for families too. However, the small stream has to be crossed several times. This is a bit tedious. There are no significant strenuous ascents. And yet a great experience if you can see the way you went from above. A special experience the Bergcafe above Reusten. But only at the end of May 2018 again.

Nature reserve between Reusten and Hailfingen. The mountain slope consists of a lean meadow with stone blocks. In spring you can also see pasqueflowers blooming here. Sheep are used to maintain the landscape, as mowing the meadow on this slope is difficult. The Kochart flows below and later flows into the Ammer. The vegetation here is very lush. There are two ford crossings, but this can be difficult if it rains for a long time.

Lake Reusten is located in one of the old quarries.
You can only catch a glimpse of the lake from a few places. Unfortunately, access is not permitted and the view is made difficult by bushes.

The Kochhart is the longest tributary of the Neckar tributary Ammer in central Baden-Württemberg, with a length of almost 16 kilometers on the main line. It is also known as Kochhartgraben or Kochenhartgraben and, after running in a southeast to east-northeast direction, flows into the Ammer from the right in Reusten.
