The Forsthaus Butzbach is easy to reach on cycling and hiking trails and is recommended for a rest. Outside the opening hours there is a vending machine.

Forsthaus Butzbach is always recommended as a nice destination, only z. B. the cycle path from Brandoberndorf to Weiperfelden at the edge of the forest to Espa and from there parallel to the L3053 to the Forsthaus Butzbach. But that is certainly very difficult for politics, Brandoberndorf & Weiperfelden belong to the district of Wetzlar, Espa is the district of Giessen, and the forester's house Butzbach is in the Wetterau district. If you could then manage an underpass on the L3053 for cyclists and pedestrians on the Solmsbach, you could reach the Oes, the Butzbacher funeral forest and the local mountain with its Gut lookout tower without having to come into contact with car traffic. From the Forsthaus Butzbach you can reach the Schrenzerbad in Butzbacher Gut from there you have a view over the Wetterau to the Vogelsberg, which I think is comparable to the view in Bad Nauheim at the Johannisberg Cafe.
