What is this booklet with Lisa and Ben?
In spring 2016, a booklet was published to make it easier to get started into the cycling season.
The aim of the magazine is to provide an overview of cycling in Lünen. If you are already a bike fan, start with the cyclist Lisa. If you want to become one, start with Ben.
Just in time for the start of the cycling season, it will be handed out at the service point in the town hall, where you can generally go to the right place for all your questions. Later it will be available in the flyer stands next to the service point, where you will also find other flyers and leaflets on the subject of cycling. If the town hall is not (yet) part of your cycle route, you can download it at the end of this page. There you will also find the leaflet “Cycle path or road”.
Why cycle through Lünen?
Cycling has many benefits for you. Because it is the easiest, cheapest and fastest way to travel by bike.
You can get from A to B quickly without spending a lot of money. You save yourself the trouble of looking for a parking space and simply cycle past the traffic jam. Nature and the city can be experienced equally. The bike is particularly suitable as a fast and environmentally friendly means of transport for short distances.
What service does Lünen offer for my bike?
If you are concerned about the roadworthiness of your bike, simply take it to a bike shop or bike station. Both can help you professionally and offer additional services.
There are numerous good bicycle dealers in Lünen city center and in the districts. Take a look around, your suitable bicycle dealer will be there.
There are two bike stations in Lünen. The large bike station is located on the north side of the main train station. Here you can not only have your bike serviced and cleaned, but also park it safely around the clock. The city bike station is right next to the cinema on Lippedamm. Book the services right here.
