The Dülmen Wildlife Park was opened in the 1860s and covers 250 hectares. It consists of a landscaped area of meadows, forests and lakes. Fallow deer, red deer and sheep (Heidschnucken) have a home in the extensive area. The ponds attract a number of bird species.
Three entrances lead into the listed park, the central path of which is integrated into the city of Dülmen's cycle path network.
The park is open to the public free of charge all year round.
