Most of the buildings on the castle grounds are in use. The best known is probably Germany's only riding school. The state archive, a community college and training rooms are also located on the site. When I visited the castle, I was training to become a fire protection assistant.

If you're in the area, you should definitely plan a visit to the castle and its gardens. In summer, a visit to the beer garden in the castle park, which belongs to the brasserie "Lilly's", is also highly recommended.
