Very distinctive church on the "Kirchberg" in front of Eschenau am Steigerwald with a tower that is not typical for Lower Franconia.
Unfortunately I couldn't find much about this church today.
At least: it is listed in the monument list for Knetzgau.
It says:
"Hall building with gable roof and choir tower with onion dome, with pierced frames in sandstone, choir 1600, nave 1720; with furnishings".

The Protestant, listed Trinity Church is the parish church of Eschenau, a district of the municipality of Knetzgau in the district of Haßberge (Lower Franconia, Bavaria). The building is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian monument list under the monument number D-6-74-163-23. The parish belongs to the Westheim parish of the Rügheim deanery in the Bayreuth church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria.
