This flat, straight path follows an old rail grade across open prairie toward Eagle Lake. Start from the end of Slater Way by the recycling yard, or use the short connector from Huxted Way. The surface is a mix of gravel and grass with little shade, so bring water and be ready for wind. After rain it can turn muddy in low spots. Watch for birds near the lake and respect any private land or posted signs along the corridor.
