The photo is a bit incomplete... (I was in a hurry), but the point is: One of the sealing points of the Horizont 22 section is located next to the entrance to Salföldi Major, but the application already detects our presence in a radius of about 100m. In any case, the pearl that encompasses all the architectural elements of the wonderful Balaton Uplands is Salföld itself. On the small square bordered by Templom Street and Kossuth Lajos Street, we find the entrance to Salföldi Major, as well as the "catering unit" called Káli Fecske, where you can have a good lunch or a glass of wine, or even see a small exhibition. The Major itself is a highlight managed by the Balaton Uplands National Park: it presents the animal husbandry of the place, but from here we can even set off by horse-drawn carriage to further attractions. The National and Balaton Uplands Blue Tours also run here. If we follow the recommendation of Horizont, we can also climb to the Csönge-hegyi Kilátó (MTB) via the Csarabos Nature Trail. This settlement, with its charm, at least 1000 years of history, and uniqueness, adds to the extras of the Balaton Uplands, which also have to be seen and experienced.
