Today I had the honor of philosophizing with the boss,
Andreas Guggenberger.
As a master baker and pastry chef, he has been making cakes, desserts, and savory delicacies in his own pastry shop since 2014.
Since September 1, 2025, there has been a truly lovingly decorated self-service shop directly at the gingerbread production site in Kardorf.
In addition to gingerbread, various other items are also offered.
I was thrilled by the gigantic ostrich eggs and, as a counterpart, the cute quail eggs, ostrich egg noodles, and, of course, the delicious Elisen gingerbread.
For those who want to take a short break, there are comfortable lounge chairs and outlets for charging e-bikes.
