Bāb al-Yaman is the main gate to the Old City. It is over 700 years old and was rebuilt by the Turks in the 19th century. After the 1962 revolution, it was renamed Liberty Gate. From the top of the gate, you have a great view of the Old City and the surrounding countryside.
