The Armand Lahontang indoor arena was inaugurated in 1982. Rectangular in shape, the stands surround the track on three sides. The eastern side, along its length, adjoins the basketball court, separated by removable talanquères and rolling curtains. These structures provide the town with a large sheltered space, ensuring that events can continue even in inclement weather. Bullfighting shows with cows are held in our arenas. The Landaise bullfighting competition and the cockade competition represent a strong identity of our region. For a long time, and still today, players in these two disciplines have come from our village. The French young jumper champion, for two years, was a Poyannais. In 2024, his brother won this title: the trophy thus returned to the village. As for the French raseteur champion, he was a Poyannais for several years.
