Here you can experience the impressive power of the ocean and unwind at the same time. I recommend coming in the morning or evening, then the light is better.
This part of the coast is not protected by offshore reefs and is at the mercy of the ocean. The water fountains from the waves crashing onto the coast are correspondingly huge. We met very few visitors here, but the visit is definitely worth it!
The wild character of the coast lies in the southeast of the island. Here at Le Souffleur, the huge waves crash with a roar and foaming spray hits the pitch-black lava cliffs, a natural spectacle that is second to none. Just three kilometers further through beautiful forests and past magnificent lava rocks, the hiker reaches a beautiful natural bridge that definitely deserves a highlight.
