The zoo is home to the largest group of chimpanzees in Germany. A special highlight are the chimpanzee feedings, which take place several times a day and allow visitors to observe the animals up close. The zoo deliberately leaves plenty of space for native culture. There are numerous biotopes, from ponds to orchards, where a trained eye can discover numerous native plant and animal species. It's also very suitable for children.

The Leintalzoo is always worth a visit. The privately run small zoo with large groups of monkeys and other animals is a highlight for the little ones. Thanks to the large playground for the kids, the grown-ups have time for a snack or a refreshment in the restaurant.
