The ascent to the castle is quite steep, but with the appropriate support it is definitely worth it. The castle itself is also called youth castle and accordingly there are some "exhibits" in the inner courtyard (armour, stage, dungeon, etc.). But the view of Neuerburg from above is also very nice.

Documentary evidence is the existence of Neuerburg since 1132.

In 1930, Neuerburg Castle was taken over by the Catholic BUND NEUDEUTSCHLAND and expanded as a youth castle.
A special kind of youth hostel has developed from the walls of the medieval castle in recent decades.
