The Kinzig rises in the Central Black Forest in Loßburg near Freudenstadt (Kinzig origin). In Auenheim near Kehl it flows into the Rhine after 112 kilometers. Directly below the Kinzig origin lies the Kinzigsee in the so-called “Magic Land”, where there is a lot to discover, especially for children.
