Lake Gersekarát is located in the southern part of Vas County, on the Vasi Hegyhát Mountains, and is surrounded by forested mountains. It was created in 1992 as a social reservoir.
The reservoir covers an area of almost 36 hectares and is fed by the Sárvíz Stream and the Csengő Stream. Gersekarát Beach was built on a suitable part of the lake and has been renovated several times in recent years.
The beach area is covered with grass and invites you to relax. The water is clean, pleasant, and gradually deepens, allowing children to play and romp in the sand without worry.
A cozy buffet is available on the pier above the water.
