The battle of the Korean Strait was the very first sea battle fought during the Korean War. The battle between the Republic of Korea (South Korea) Navy ship "Packdusan" (PC-701) and North Korea (Communist) combat vessel carrying special operation forces occurred on 26th, June 1950, outside the harbor of Busan.
