Day 2 of the Tour des Dents Blanches: Susanfe Refuge in Vogealle.

A good warm-up from Susanfe, a gentle descent. Things get tougher quite quickly as we begin the climb to the Col des Ottans. The difficulty is consistent, and oh (unpleasant) surprise, the ladders.

In fact, we're treated to a mini via ferrata of, say, about twenty meters. And dear readers, it's dangerous to go there without a harness. But it's manageable provided you have alpine footing. There's a slight difficulty getting through the tunnel at the summit; it's best to take off your backpack.

Then, the descent to the refuge is gentle, allowing you to admire the surrounding view.

A short detour to Lake Vogealle is highly recommended.
