Fine climb to include in a ridge ride, but certainly not the prettiest in the area. From the north it is the most beautiful, with a wide cycle path / parallel road (you have to cross the road), from the south the cycle path is not so nice and super narrow at the time of writing, so you often have to slow down to avoid other cyclists to catch up. My tip: turn left from Maarn just after the highway and go up the Ruiterberg via the Maarnse Grindweg: much nicer and quieter in terms of traffic
