This trailhead is the closest access point for seeing the large bronze medallion marking the "point of impact" of the Decorah Impact Crater. There is an ample parking area, but no public restrooms or picnic facilities. The current location of the komoot highlight for the Decorah Impact Crater is not located at the actual center of impact of the Decorah Impact Crater.
