The Kaarster See actually consists of two lakes, a bathing lake and a sports lake. There are two beaches at the bathing lake, one of which has a non-swimmer area and a beach volleyball facility. The sports lake is for sailing, fishing, windsurfing and diving.

Great clean water and super nice facility. From 6 p.m. it has lower prices and is open until 9 p.m. The Sandbar offers snacks and drinks with the vendor's Italian charm. The homemade Italian pasta salad with pesto is fantastic!
