The Bockerl Bridge over the Isar in Landau, which was later completed in 1903, was the longest self-supporting steel bridge in Bavaria at the time. It was built especially for the railway line and is now a listed building.
The Bockerl Bridge consists of a box bridge made of mild steel on a concrete substructure, two five- or two-arch stamped concrete bridges and an iron pedestal arch bridge, connected by a route on the dam.
