A well-marked trailhead for the Knobstone Trail with a small gravel parking area. It’s a popular access point for section hikes and also a common camping area, though there are no formal facilities. From here, the trail quickly gets into rolling, forested terrain with some steep climbs. A good spot to start early if you want to beat the heat and have more of the trail to yourself.
