The Museumshof Rahden was built here from 1962 to 1966 with the help of the Stadtsparkasse Rahden and the LWL. With the exception of the barn, his buildings all stood on different farmsteads in what is now the town of Rahden. They were removed there, restored and rebuilt here.
The visitor finds a fully furnished farmstead with its various trimmings as it looked in the 19th century. The entire interior consists of original pieces and comes from the old district of Rahden.
